Things are going well with bunny girl! She's been called all kinds of things in the last couple of days, but we're 90% sure her name will be Muffin. You know.. Cupcake and Muffin, lol.
Cupcake is tolerating her, now that she's gotten over the shock of this strange, hopping, long-eared creature.. they'll sit on the same piece of furniture, on opposite sides, ignoring each other. It took much longer for her to get to this point with Oreo, so I'd say it's a good sign.
She loves to explore, run around after Casey, and take naps under our bed.. the only time she'll go to her cage is to eat, drink, or use her litter box, then when we put her to bed at bedtime. I love that she's able to interact with the family, like Cupcake, and not be stuck in her cage all day. The only problem we've come across so far is that she likes to eat Casey's food, so we have to be careful what he is eating around her (they both love strawberries and grapes though!).

There were two little girls at the playground today, with their grandmother.. Casey was playing with them, and kept calling their grandmother 'gran', lol. He'd be like "Look, gran! Watch me, gran! Can you help me, gran!" At one point, he had a tantrum because I was trying to help him with the ladder, but he wanted 'gran' to help him. She was so nice, and paid as much attention to Casey as she did to her own two grandchildren. This is not the first time he's adopted someone's grandparent as his own.. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that we're so far away from all of his grandparents or not, but it makes me feel guilty, and sad for him.

Looks like she has moved in well....she is such a pretty rabbit. Bet she can't believe her luck - she has such a lot of area to move around in, and now has a playmate and not stuck in a boring cage all day! xxx
