Nameless bunny girl..

Yesterday we took Casey to pick out another pet.. and this is who we brought home :)

She is still nameless as of right now, but we have a few cute possibilities. It'll be Casey's choice, as long as he stops insisting we name her 'Peter' (although it would have been a great name if she wasn't a female, and it wasn't already daddy's name).

She is a house bunny.. she is allowed to roam free while we're home, then she'll go in her cage at night, or while we're not home. She is so friendly, curious and playful.. Casey has been laughing hysterically playing with her all morning, and last night she was hopping up on the sofa to sit next to Peter. She loves Casey.. I was a little worried he'd be too loud and scary for her at first, but she just follows him around everywhere.. I'm surprised how kitten-like she is. We all love her, with the exception of Cupcake.. we introduced them briefly last night, and she ran after and jumped on Cupcake.. Cupcake was shocked, and not very happy, lol. From everything I've read, and what we were told at the Humane Society, house bunnies and house cats get along very well.. so I think (hope) eventually they'll be the best of friends like Cupcake and Oreo were.

What a unusual colouring....she is gorgeous. Do you have a dirt box for her - they can be trained to use it....Kevin had a rabbit once and it never messed in the house at all as it always used its dirt box. The only problem he had was that it gnawed the table legs, so keep an eye on it lol! xxx

Yep, we got her a litter box, and keep it in her cage! She's already using it for the most part.. she's just like a cat, lol.
The did warn us about the chewing at the Humane Society, but they said as long as she has plenty of chewing options, it should be okay.. so we bought her a lot of toys, and things to chew on. We'll be keeping an eye on her though, lol!

Aww, wouldn't the pet store give you another guinea pig. The bunny is gorgeous. Naming a pet is always difficult, lol. Have you thought of Mufty or pippin?

Casey likes almost every name we suggest, lol. His favorites are Miffy (from the show 'Miffy'), Muffin, and Buttons.. he keeps calling her all of these :P
We didn't even look at Petsmart, because I'd read some things online about animals dying within weeks, like Henry. We just went to the Humane Society.. she was rescued, she came spayed, and with a free vet check up.
